Celebrating Black History Month!

In planning for the much-anticipated Black Health and Wellness Day on March 1, 2025, we’ve had the privilege of working closely with our incredible community partners. Their unwavering support has been instrumental in shaping our journey.

Through spending time with these amazing partners, and learning more about the incredible work that they do, we’ve discovered just how many impactful Black History Month activities are happening right here in Durham Region. These events are a testament to the vibrant, resilient, and inspiring spirit of our community.

At Durham Community Health Centre (DCHC), solidarity is at the heart of our work, along with respect and trust. These values drive our commitment to uplifting and supporting one another. That’s why we’re proud to amplify the efforts of our partners this February as we come together to celebrate and honour Black history and culture.
