Indigenous Health & Wellness

At Durham Community Health Centre (DCHC), we understand the vital importance of building trust within the Indigenous Community so that members feel comfortable to come to us for support with their health and wellness.

We work with leaders in the Indigenous Community to guide us in hosting workshops, events and activities that bring community members together and promote hope, belonging, meaning and purpose for Indigenous Peoples.

The Indigenous Team at DCHC hosts a wide variety of activities, events, and workshops for community members from our quarterly Big Drum Socials to Family Nights, Youth Groups, and Full Moon and Sunrise Ceremonies.
